Bawd Hall - Self-catering in a Luxury Lake District House in the Newlands valley

Located in the unspoilt Newlands valley in the heart of the Lake District, the property is beautifully set with great walks right out of the door. Inside, it is furnished to a very high standard and is very comfortable, even in the worst weather, with full central heating, double glazing and an open fire. More details.

A short drive (15 mins) takes you to Keswick with ample shopping and leisure facilities and nearby boating on Derwent Water.  10 minutes in the other direction takes you to the superb mountain and lake scenery of Buttermere.

If you just want to sit in the house, the garden room is ideal for observing wildlife. Red squirrels and stoats have been seen, together with a variety of birds.

Even if you don't want to book, please feel free to visit our website, which has a wealth of interesting information about the surrounding area.  There are also ideas on activities and places to visit, plus links to other web sites, in the things to do section, and some nice pictures of the local mountain scenery.
